Charlottetown – DeltaWare Systems Inc. (DeltaWare) has contributed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation’s Capital Campaign with a generous donation of $50,000.
DeltaWare has a history of contributing to health, education and youth organizations across the province through scholarships, bursaries, and major gifts. “It has always been important to us to give back to our community,” says DeltaWare President, Ed Lawlor. “We recognize the vital services that the QEH provides and at any time, our family and our employees will require these services.”
The QEH Foundation Capital Campaign, Care Today For Tomorrow, is aimed to solve two challenges: closing the gap in medical equipment and technology needed for daily services for Islanders; and providing new medical equipment for Phase 1 Redevelopment consisting of Emergency, Ambulatory Care and Day Surgery and expansion to the PEI Cancer Treatment Centre facilities.
“We are grateful to DeltaWare for supporting this very special campaign,” said Jim Casey, Chair of the Care Today For Tomorrow Capital Campaign. “This contribution will go a long way toward improving the health of Islanders through the purchase of much needed medical equipment.”
