Charlottetown – DeltaWare Systems Inc (DeltaWare) has been recognized among Canada’s Best Employers in the recent Maclean’s magazine Top 100 Employers in Canada. Winners were announced in the special issue of Maclean’s Magazine on stands today.
The Top 100 Employers is a national competition to determine which employers lead their industries in offering exceptional workplaces for their employees. Employers are evaluated by the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers using eight criteria including: Physical Workplace; Work Atmosphere and Social; Health, Financial and Family Benefits; Vacation and Time Off; Employee Communications; Performance Management; Training and Skills Development; and Community Involvement. Employers are compared to other organizations in their field to determine which offers the most progressive and forward-thinking programs.
DeltaWare is the only Island business recognized for this award in 2009, and only one of four businesses in Atlantic Canada. This is the second time DeltaWare has been in the Top 100 ranking since the prestigious Top 100 Employers commenced in 2000.
