Government of Canada Invests in DeltaWares Medigent Advancement Initiative

CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – The Government of Canada has announced it will be investing in DeltaWare’s Medigent® Advancement Initiative project under Round V of the Atlantic Innovation Fund (AIF). The announcement was made today by Rob Moore, Member of Parliament for Fundy Royal, on behalf of the Honourable Peter MacKay, Minister of National Defence and Minister of the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA).

The project will allow DeltaWare to continue in-depth research and software development, incorporating a number of innovations into the Medigent suite of products. These efforts will result in new and improved technologies in the revamped Medigent IV which will facilitate better healthcare by streamlining the exchange, management, and surveillance of electronic health records from service providers.
