DeltaWare's VP attends HIMSS Conference and Exhibition

CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – DeltaWare Vice President Mike Hennessey recently attended the HIMSS (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society) Annual Conference and Exhibition in Orlando, Florida from February 24 – 28, 2008.

The Annual Conference and Exhibition provides one of the largest networking and educational platforms for the eHealth industry in North America, and beyond. With leading information on issues such as healthcare public policy, industry practices and standards the conference is must to attend.

“This was an opportunity to see developments taking place in the healthcare industry on a very large scale” explained Mr. Hennessey. “This was the first year that I attended this event, but it proved to be quite successful and may lead to some further business opportunities.”

HIMSS is the healthcare industry's membership organization focused exclusively on providing leadership for the optimal use of healthcare information technology (IT) and management systems for the betterment of healthcare. This year’s conference was the most successful to date with over 28,000 attendees and 900 exhibiting companies from around the world.
